Firecracker Kids Tri - July 4

Cambridge Multi-Sport is proud to announce the second annual Firecracker Kids Triathlon to be held at the Dorchester Family YMCA.

This event will challenge kids (ages 6-12) to complete a swim, bike and run event in a highly supportive and motivating community environment. All proceeds from this event will go back to the Dorchester Family YMCA.

There will be absolutely NO late or day of registrations allowed! We are also limiting the number of participants to 125, please register early.

Event Details

Ages 6-7: 50 yard swim, 2.1 mile bike, .6 mile run
Ages 8-9: 100 yard swim, 2.1 mile bike, 1.2 mile run
Ages 10-12: 150 yard swim, 2.1 mile bike, 1.2 mile run

All safety rules must be followed (i.e. helmets must be worn during bike ride). If needed children can use flotation devices during the swim portion of the event.

Awards

Each participant will receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt. Awards will be issued to the top male and female finishers in each age group.

Volunteers?

We are looking for volunteers to assist us in making this a fun and safe event for all involved. Parents will not be allowed in the transition areas, only volunteers.
