We're more than a place, we're a cause. The Y is about making our community better, living a healthier life, spending time together as family. The Y strengthens our community through programs and services focused on our mission of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.....and we ensure that we never turn anyone away who is in need.
We have an extraordinary opportunity to ensure a brighter future for Dorchester County, but we need your help. Your tax-deductible gift to the Dorchester County Family YMCA will have a lasting impact in our community by helping us to reach more people through life-changing programs and services.
Please help us by giving $30 to celebrate 30 years of Giving is Living..and if you can pay it forward for giving more to help someone else who is unable to give this year...that's what makes us stronger.

Dorchester Hurricanes....We are extending the session and the age group!
Join the Dorchester County YMCA’s newest Aquatics Program, the Dorchester Hurricanes Swim Club!
The purpose of the Dorchester Hurricanes is to develop the skills it requires to become a competitive swimmer. Those skills include stroke techniques, starts from a 1 meter dive block, flip turns, and endurance swimming. A large portion of this program will also involve building strong character in each swimmer and instilling YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in each swimmer.
